Data Engineer (San Diego, CA): Work through all stages of the model development lifecycle: define the business problem, capture and structure data, craft end-to-end solutions from sourcing and wrangling relevant data, build out dashboards that revel data insights, and present recommendations and business impacts to partners. Build and support data pipelines to optimize data retrieval from various sources and build data engineering assets to surface useful business insights. Utilize extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of data management, including data modeling, data mining, data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization. Acquire, analyze, and structure large amounts of data to provide key business insights across disparate sources of data (Oracle, Hive/Presto, Snowflake, Hadoop, etc.). Design and build self-service dashboards and tools tuned to drive revenue impact. Document processes, use cases, and requirements in a way that can be understood by technical and business partners. Continuously improve on existing processes, automate existing analyses, define standard methodologies, and provide though leadership around monetization initiatives. Req: Master’s degree in computer science or related field plus 2 years of experience in similar duties/technical capabilities using Phyton, SQL, AWS, airflow, Terraform, Redshift, EMR, Glue, snowflake, Step Functions, Lambda.
